Things to Pack When Going on a Long Vacation

When planning a vacation, you should make a checklist of things you need to bring depending on how long you are staying.

Clothing:

  1. A shirt and a pair of pants for everyday you are staying. ( You may want to bring extras just in case.)
  2. Sleepwear 
  3. Robe
  4. Footwear ( Socks, Sandals, Flip-flops, sneakers, dress shoes, slippers.)
  5. Tank tops or light clothing
  6. Swimwear
  7. Jackets and coats (make sure to bring a raincoat.)
  8. Hats
  9. Gloves
  10. Any accessories

Toiletries:

  1. Toothbrush and Toothpaste
  2. Dental Floss and Mouthwash
  3. Deodorant
  4. Soap and Shampoo (Just in case if they are not supplied where you are staying.)
  5. Makeup and Makeup Remover
  6. Brush or Comb
  7. Hair Care Supplies
  8. Mirror 
  9. Sunscreen ( Depending on where your going.)
  10. Insect Repellent
  11. Medications and Vitamins
  12. First Aid Kit
  13. Pain Reliever

Traveling Essentials:

  1. Passport (Depending on where your going.)
  2. Drivers License
  3. Maps or Directions
  4. Language Guide
  5. Travel Pillow and Blanket
  6. Luggage Tags
  7. Snacks
  8. Suitcase
  9. Cell Phone
  10. Purse
  11. Wallet
  12. Laundry Bag
  13. Camera (not essential)
  14. Charger to electronics
  15. Office Supplies (if needed)
Depending on where you are going, you might not need all these supplies. When staying in a hotel, you never know what you might need.
